Sixth plate image of a cross-eyed woman. This medical anomaly is more formally known as strabismus. She looks into the camera with one eye, while the other gazes toward the center. It is obvious she suffers from this abnormality that is now often easily corrected at childhood. Her earrings and wedding ring are gilt. Behind the re-sealed image are several pieces of the original seals and later seal with the year '1850-55' written in hand. There is some minor tinting to hear scarf and there is one minor spot near the bottom of the scarf. Contained in a full, albeit repaired leather case.
