Quarter Plate Tintype of a Logger

Click photo to view larger image.
Great image of a logging man holding his huge crosscut saw. This excellent occupational tintype is housed in a full leather case. He wears a three quarter length coat with white piping and a bow tie. His cheeks are slightly tinted and he has a gilded watch chain. Sort of a formal dress to be holding the tool of his trade - a larger logging saw! With a revenue stamp mount verso of the tin.
